 need advice for first time traveler

im a nurse that has alittle over a year of experience in and have worked in a neuro surgery unit for almost a year... i was wanting to know what areas of the country are better for first timers than others. and what should i expect when i get there

First if you have only worked in a Neuro surgery then you need more experience. It is very seldom that you will get to work in a specific area of OR unless maybe it's CVOR. Usually they expect you to be able to do it all.... running of course.

Most hospital managers will look at profiles with more experience than one year. THey are now asking for 3 to 5 yrs experience and with travel experience. Also, the best way to start is to not go to far from home.. maybe a border state to get your feet wet.
