Does African Americans usually have successful careers as travel nurses? Can they be excluded from a job because of their racial status? Have you or somebody you know went through anything such as this, I would appreciate your opinions. |

I have traveled for many yrs and hve met people from all races and walks of life... the only time I ever saw a problem was in AL and this was about 15 yrs ago when I worked for the Red Cross. Most places I have been to like you to be able to come in, do the job, not be a lounge lizard...be friendly, smile...
I have seen more problems with people that are "Southern" and it didn't seem to make any difference their race.. Had a friend really put down in a hospital in WY because she talks "Southern" and the anesthesiologist told her to not talk in her room... |

No.. I don't care if you are purple.... if you can pass school you can do the job. A recruiter doesn't care if you are pink or yellow polkadots...they make the same money off you as they do anyone else.
Quit thinking like that.
Where did that come from? |

Doesn't matter your skin color. You will win if you want to win. |
