Im hearing about the dire economy yet, in the past 2 months I've had a few travel companies that called about available travel positions in states where there is usually no opportunitys. Could it be that finally there is an upturn to the travel nursing industry? Im afraid to make a move from my cushy staff job. Last year I was caught without a job for 3 mths. Don't want that to happen again. What is going on out there? Is it safe to go into the water again?? |

I work as a Senior Recruiter at a Staffing Firm, and the job orders have been coming in like crazy. I am not sure what your modality is. The TRAVEL business flatlined back in January and it is making its way back in. Give me a call sometime and I would be happy to go into any specifics with you and then let you make the call if it is worth leaving your staff job. I am a non-pressure recruiter, I just don't run that way. I realize the importance of a paycheck in this economy and just want my nurses to do what is best for them.
Call me: Shannyn @ TGhealthcare - 866-696-8559
Hope all is well and best wishes... |

If you're afraid, then maybe you can take time off to test the waters or simply just remain with your cushy staff job. I think it's picking up now. Nurses are need everywhere! |

Since I posted that message; the industry has really come back. I am presently under contract through agency near my home; but come January; I plan on hitting the travel nurse highway... I can't wait to begin my adventure!!! |
