I am interested in your opinion of the top 5 or 6 questions that you would ask a recruiter before making a decision to take a job in travel nursing.
My concern is the orientation process in a new facility.
I work in surgery. Some use EMR and some don't.
How is a nurse oriented?
also Do I decide what shift I work, can the facility make me take call during this assignment.
What other things should I be asking or checking out?
Thanks

Hello Sundance,
I understand that you are not happy working in the Northeast. Have you ever considered taking a travel assignment on the West Coast like California. I know for a fact that the pay in Northern California is great compared to Southern California. Shop around with some agencies and get some numbers on what they can do for you and where they have assignments available. If you like you can send me a PM and I can give you some recommendations. Good luck to you Sundance.
Happy travels,
Jason
