Hi all and yes I am not a nurse

However I work 6pm to 6am and I am in IT.

I saw post where ever one seemed happy working at night and yes it has its advantages.

I don’t get it. I lost my girl friend of 7 years because I never saw her. At the same time I worked for an oil firm at night 12/hr rotate and the job was off shored.

I have been recovering and discovered money is NOT everything. There is no chance to get what was lost, so be it. I can not just quit my current job.

I am in search of what to do on my weekends. Monday –Wednesday, where I have to stay up all night with no place to go and no one to talk to, painful. I ask my fellow humans out there, how do you cope, where do you go on a Monday night at 4 am?

A part of me as left the stage and I am not talking about just my ex but I work out play my guitar, study (that is a never ending issue in IT “we will live in books, till we live in the coffin” fun fun done

Lost is about the only word I can use to describe this. I started the new job at a large computer company, motto “Invent” The pay is too good to split for some other adventure, besides, in business, I have had a few adventures including a company that I owned for a couple of years.

Yall seem to have a grip, and I do not have that grip. What are some secrets other than sleep. Yes I have a very hard time sleeping 6 hours when I get home, I can deal with that but socially, and I am at a stand still.
